Psychotherapy and philosophical discussion are some of the best ways to understand our values, beliefs, and morals that lead us to experience the world. Often addiction comes from compulsions that can be managed through self-management techniques and active reflection. We work to build a personal philosophy to help individuals to have ownership over their lives.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we experience as human beings. We all experiences these emotions at some point in our lives. Through psychotherapy, conversation, and skills building we can build or re-establish drive, determination, and discipline to reach our ideal self.
Trauma and post traumatic stress can be overwhelming in our life. We believe in learning more about how we accumulate and discharge stress to move back to tranquility. We use both somatic and cognitive approaches to learn skills to regulate our emotions, tolerate stress, and become more mindful to have congruence with what we think and what we feel. We believe this gives us resilience and autonomy to control our lives.
Learning what it means to be well to each of us can be a challenge and finding balance between our physical, intellectual, financial, occupational, social, spiritual, environmental, and emotional needs can seem impossible. We use discussion, skills training, and active reflection to help each person to operate at the level of wellness they find ideal. We believe that learning what makes us well is essential to living the life we love.
